Pokémon fans, prepare for an exciting journey! The Pokémon Company International is thrilled to announce "Pokémon: Trainer Tour," a new reality show premiering globally on Prime Video and the Roku Channel on July 31st.
Hosts Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) and Andrew Mahone (Tricky Gym) travel the country in a Pikachu-themed bus, meeting and mentoring aspiring Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) players. The show highlights the passion and stories of Pokémon enthusiasts from all backgrounds, showcasing their connection to the Pokémon brand and the TCG.
Andy Gose, Senior Director of Media Production at The Pokémon Company International, stated that the series is a unique venture for the company, celebrating the diverse Pokémon fanbase. He emphasized the show's ability to highlight the community built around the Pokémon TCG.
Since its 1996 debut, the Pokémon TCG has captivated millions worldwide. Now, nearly 30 years later, it's a global phenomenon with a passionate community and a thriving competitive scene.
