Navigating the vast world of World of Warcraft on a majestic mount is undoubtedly one of the game's most thrilling experiences. Among the coveted mounts, the Stormcrow known as Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, stands out as a particularly fancy addition to any player's collection. Named after the Siren Isle zone introduced in the World of Warcraft: The War Within expansion, obtaining Thrayir involves engaging with a unique event called a Storm, which unfolds in multiple phases across the island. Here's a detailed guide on how to secure this stunning flying mount.
How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft
To unlock Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, players must collect five distinct Runekeys during the Storm event on Siren Isle. Each Runekey has its own method of acquisition, making the quest both challenging and rewarding.
- The Whirling Runekey is obtained from the rare spawn enemy Ksvir the Forgotten, located in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault. Visiting the Vault during a Storm event increases the chance of Ksvir spawning, and he almost always drops the Whirling Runekey upon defeat.
The Torrential Runekey requires collecting seven Torrential Fragments, which can be obtained by defeating any enemy on Siren Isle during a Storm phase.
The Thunderous Runekey is crafted from five Thunderous Fragments, which drop from any chest around Siren Isle, regardless of whether the area is experiencing a Storm.
The Cyclonic Runekey can be found by fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.
The Turbulent Runekey is assembled from three Turbulent Fragments, located in specific spots near Kul Tiran ghosts:
- Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
- Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone, where the ghost is cowering.
- Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave, where the ghost offers the fragment as a tribute.
Once all five Runekeys are collected, players must return to the Forgotten Vault area of Siren Isle during the Seafury Tempest phase. Entering the Vault during any other phase will not allow the ritual to proceed. Navigate to the eastern room of the map, where Thrayir’s body lies on a platform surrounded by five runestones. Insert each corresponding Runekey into the slots to trigger the quest "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Completing this quest will reward players with the magnificent Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren mount, ready to soar through the skies of Azeroth.
