Recent soulslike games have successfully reimagined classic tales, such as the relatively unknown "Journey to the West" and the surprisingly twisted "Pinocchio" in Lies of P. However, the King Arthur narrative feels overused and familiar, preventing Tides of Annihilation from establishing a truly unique selling point despite its visual appeal.
