A week after teasing the collaboration, Tower of God New World has officially welcomed Mori Calliope and Tokoyami Towa to its ever-expanding roster. These hololive stars are now playable as SSR+ teammates, infusing the game with their unique personalities and a dash of chaos. The update also introduces several limited-time events, all set to run through April 23rd.
Both new additions to Tower of God New World are Yellow element units. [hololive] Mori Calliope joins as a fast-paced Assassin-type Scout, while [hololive] Tokoyami Towa steps in as a Support role, functioning as a Wave Controller. Their kits are brimming with flashy skills and distinctive flair, designed to captivate both Tower of God enthusiasts and hololive fans alike.
The collaboration features a special story event titled "We May Be Reaper & Demon, but We’ll Be Maids!", where the VTuber duo swaps their grim duties for maid uniforms. By completing event missions, players can earn materials such as Tower’s Blessing Break Stones, along with a variety of cosmetics and power-up rewards.
Additionally, there's a hololive Collab Special Summon with boosted rates, and a Daily Festa that rewards players with prizes for simply logging in and completing missions. This includes up to 100 hololive Collab Summon Tickets.
For those new to hololive, it's a female-led VTuber group managed by Cover Corporation, which has rapidly become a global sensation. From pioneering the virtual streaming space to charting on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, their achievements are impressive.
