How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
E.R.P.O. frequently introduces new monsters, so it's wise to bookmark this page for ongoing updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides for each monster. While there are general strategies, you can also use various weapons to take them down:
- Melee Combat: Purchase weapons like the Machete or Hammer from the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These will spawn in your next level, allowing you to pick them up with M1 and attack monsters. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ a hit-and-run strategy to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee encounters.
- Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, grenades can be picked up with M1, uncorked with E, and thrown or left to explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and severely impacting tougher ones. Mines should be placed strategically for monsters to trigger.
- Monster Brawl: You can manipulate monster behavior to your advantage. For instance, bait a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by running behind it and making noise through walking or voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe, a large shadowy ghost, will grab and damage you upon contact. To evade it, crouch and hide or kite it around. It's best to avoid melee combat due to its high damage output. Instead, use two grenades or mines to take it down by luring it into the blast radius. Be mindful that Robe teleports and accelerates towards you when you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper, a raggedy doll with spinning sword arms, can be kited or avoided. Unlike Robe, it doesn't teleport, making it easier to engage in melee combat since its damage is lower. A single grenade combined with a couple of melee hits should suffice to defeat it, and both grenades and mines can stun it momentarily.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked by physical contact or damage. Once enraged, they relentlessly pursue you, dealing low damage through biting. The best strategies are to outrun them or use melee weapons for a quick dispatch. Using grenades is overkill due to their low health.
Huntsman

The Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you with his gun. He relies on sound, triggered by your voice in chat or fast movement. To evade, crouch and hide beneath tables. Avoid melee confrontations due to his auto-aim capability. Instead, strategically place a mine or throw a grenade while crouched to stun him for six seconds, giving you an opportunity to attack with melee weapons.
