Embark on a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to recover Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, and reap the rewards!
This guide details the "Lackey" side quest, beginning at Gamemaster Vostatek's residence west of Tachov. Speak with Zlata or Vitek to initiate the quest. Vitek, located slightly southeast of the house, will direct you to Vostatek's location.
You'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves. After rescuing him, assist him to his campsite where Pepik was tethered. Unfortunately, Pepik is gone.
Follow the trail of clues leading from the campsite. Examine each clue along the path until you reach a poacher's camp.
Pepik is held captive by the poachers. Strategically engage them, taking advantage of their patrol routes to overcome them individually or in small groups. Alternatively, you can quickly retrieve Pepik and escape before engaging the stronger poachers within the camp.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can then choose to ride with him back to his home, utilizing fast travel. Your reward: a generous sum of Groschen and access to his home as a resting place.
With Pepik recovered and your coffers replenished, continue your adventures in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pursuing other quests or romantic interests, and investing in new equipment.
