Fans of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will have to wait a bit longer for the game's release, as it has been postponed yet again to October 2025. The developers announced this delay through the game's official Twitter (now known as X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update from Executive Producer Marco Behrmann. In the video, Behrmann explained that the core development of the game is complete, and the team is now focusing on bug fixing, stability, and performance enhancements to ensure the best possible experience upon release.
Paradox Interactive has been keeping the community engaged with regular Dev Diaries, detailing aspects such as characters, story, and game mechanics. However, these updates will be temporarily paused as the development team shifts its focus to refining the game's quality.
Originally unveiled in March 2019, Bloodlines 2 was initially set to launch in March 2020, developed by Hardsuit Labs. The project faced numerous delays, first to an unspecified date in 2020, then to 2021. Amid these delays, several key team members departed from the project. In a significant shift, Paradox announced in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room would take over development. Despite this change, the release was further postponed from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to October 2025.
