Kemco has released an intriguing new visual novel, "Together We Live," exclusively for Android users. This deep narrative unfolds in a post-apocalyptic setting, exploring themes of human sins and the arduous path to redemption. While it's now accessible on Android, fans of the genre can also find it on Steam for PC.
A Girl Atoning for Humans’ Sins
The journey in "Together We Live" begins with Kyoya, the protagonist, who wakes up in a dimly lit room to discover it's the year 4000, nearly 2000 years after his last memory. The Earth has transformed into a desolate wasteland, and Kyoya is not alone—a mysterious girl is there to guide him through this new reality.
This girl carries a profound burden: she is trapped in an endless cycle of death and rebirth, each iteration an attempt to atone for the sins of humanity. Her plight is both brutal and moving, prompting Kyoya to embark on a mission to teach her about happiness.
The narrative starts slowly, which might initially seem off-putting. However, as the story progresses, it unfolds with compelling twists and turns, revealing the significance of seemingly minor details.
