The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2 is anticipated in late 2025, introducing substantial endgame content and the next chapter of this expansion. However, Patch 11.0.7 features new story quests laying the groundwork for Patch 11.1, centered around the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran, though it wasn't immediately available upon patch launch.

Dalaran, a long-standing location in Warcraft lore, may never fully recover from the events of The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue questline provides closure to this storyline and a fitting farewell to a crucial social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Begin the Patch 11.1 Prologue
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign is immediately accessible. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required. However, completing prior story content is recommended to avoid spoilers and enhance understanding. The "Lingering Shadows" campaign comprises:

- No Breathing Room
- Together, Alone
- The Voice
- Ringing in the Deeps
- Good Help These Days
- Hey, What's Going On?
- Haywired and Hostile

After "Found Friends," speak to Orweyna. Her quest, while not part of the main campaign, offers insights into potential future developments in The War Within or other World Soul Saga expansions.
Initiating the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
Initially, a three-week delay was in place for the Dalaran Epilogue. As of January 7th, this restriction has been lifted. However, unlocking this campaign necessitates completion of both The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz'algar factions).
To verify completion, visit Foundation Hall (the prologue quest area for Patch 11.1). If Khadgar is present after January 7th, you can receive the quest. His absence indicates unfinished campaign quests. The Dalaran Epilogue quest list is below.

Completing this unlocks the "Fate of the Kirin Tor" achievement and the "Witness of the Kirin Tor" title.
