Summary
- A Warzone glitch allows players to use Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos on Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons.
- This requires a friend and specific steps in a private Warzone match.
- This unofficial method is likely to be patched.
A Call of Duty: Warzone player has uncovered a glitch enabling the use of Modern Warfare 3's camos on Black Ops 6 weapons—a feature many players believe should be standard. While MW3 weapons remain accessible in Warzone, many meta weapons originate from Black Ops 6, rendering previously earned camos unusable.
Black Ops 6 players diligently grind for mastery camos, unlocking them through in-game challenges. After achieving gold, diamond, and dark matter camos, players find their MW3 camos redundant in Warzone after BO6's release. This new glitch offers a solution.
Call of Duty: Warzone Player Discovers New Camo Glitch
A method, showcased by Twitter user BSPGamin (via Dexerto), allows MW3 camos to be equipped on BO6 weapons in Warzone. However, this is an unofficial workaround and may be removed in future updates.
The glitch requires a friend. Begin by starting a private Warzone match, equipping a BO6 weapon in your first loadout slot, and joining a friend's lobby. Next, equip an MW3 weapon, and rapidly select the desired camo. Simultaneously, the host switches to a private match. The friend then leaves the private match, and the player repeats the camo selection while the friend rejoins a private match. The camo should then be applied to the BO6 weapon.
For players who prefer using BO6 camos but haven't unlocked all mastery camos, Treyarch confirmed they are adding a challenge tracking feature to Black Ops 6. This feature, present in MW3, was absent from BO6, but will return in a future update.
