LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is set to launch later this month, bringing a cosmic overhaul that transforms everything from the menus to the battlefield. This time, you'll be adventuring through the Dual Nova galaxy, home to the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.
Three new champions are joining the fight in Wild Rift’s latest update, each with game-changing abilities. Ryze, the Rune Mage, brings immense AoE damage and can teleport teammates across the map with Realm Warp. Then there’s Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, who thrives on chaos, using Paranoia to plunge enemies into total darkness. Finally, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, is all about controlling time, slowing down enemies and even reviving allies with Chronoshift.
A handful of champions are also getting reworked. Garen’s Courage now scales over time, making him even tankier, while his Judgment ability will shred enemy armour. Ambessa is shifting from the jungle to the Baron lane, with tweaks to her damage and life steal. Smaller adjustments are also coming for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
Outside of champion changes, a fresh Bandle-inspired Rift is shaking things up in non-Ranked modes, complete with Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages are also getting some long-awaited item updates. The new Bandle Fantasy item adds extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance enhances ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more dangerous.
Furthermore, Ranked mode is also evolving. A new season begins alongside the launch of the Challenger’s Star, bringing updates to the Ranked store and an easier way to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, featuring AAAARAM, a fresh take on ARAM with added augments and galactic visuals.
Finally, the Wild Pass will bring two stunning skins, Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus, with Twisted Fate’s look introducing an entirely new skinline. Here’s our Wild Rift tier list ranking every champion yet!
