Bandai Namco Entertainment, the publisher behind Elden Ring, has partnered with Rebel Wolves, a Polish studio comprised of former Witcher 3 developers, for the global release of their debut action RPG, Dawnwalker.
Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco's Collaborative Effort on Dawnwalker

This exciting collaboration was announced earlier this week. Bandai Namco will handle worldwide publishing for Dawnwalker, a story-driven AAA action RPG slated for release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.
Set in a dark fantasy medieval Europe, Dawnwalker targets mature audiences with its compelling narrative. Further details are promised in the coming months. Founded in 2022, Rebel Wolves aims to elevate the RPG genre through immersive storytelling.
Tomasz Tinc, Rebel Wolves' chief publishing officer, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the shared values and Bandai Namco's established success with narrative-driven RPGs. Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, Bandai Namco's VP of business development, emphasized Dawnwalker's significance to their Western market strategy.

Leading the creative direction is Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a CD Projekt Red veteran and lead quest designer on The Witcher 3. He joined Rebel Wolves earlier this year. Co-founder and narrative director Jakub Szamalek, also a CDPR alum with over nine years of experience, confirmed Dawnwalker as a new IP. The game's scope is anticipated to be comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, with a focus on non-linear storytelling and player choice.
Tomaszkiewicz previously stated his ambition to create an experience offering diverse choices and replayability. The team's progress on Dawnwalker is highly anticipated.
