Two exclusive WoW mounts, the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and the Golden Ashes of Al'ar, are making their debut in WoW China, starting January 15th. These mounts are reimagined versions of the incredibly rare Pureblood Fire Hawk and Ashes of Al'ar, respectively.
These new mounts are rewards for specific in-game promotions within WoW China. The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk, reminiscent of the Pureblood Fire Hawk, boasts auspicious clouds within its wings while in flight, a nod to Chinese symbolism. The Golden Ashes of Al'ar, a gilded version of its predecessor, features a sleek black saddle and evocative flavor text referencing Kael'thas Sunstrider.
The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk is obtainable through a "Treasure Workshop" event, details of which are yet to be fully revealed. The Golden Ashes of Al'ar is a reward from Landro’s Loot Box, a ¥200 (approximately $27 USD) crate containing one of eight items. Other coveted prizes, including the X-51 Nether Rocket X-TREME and the Swift Spectral Tiger, are also potential rewards. Team purchases offer bonus crates based on spending thresholds.

Currently, there's no indication these mounts will be released internationally. For now, players outside of China can only appreciate these visually striking additions to the World of Warcraft collection from afar. The return of World of Warcraft to China following the renewed partnership between NetEase and Blizzard has been celebrated with various exclusive content, with these mounts being the latest example.
