Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures
Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The month of January promises an exciting mix of new releases and returning favorites for subscribers.
New Games Joining Xbox Game Pass in January 2025:
Microsoft officially announced seven new games joining the service, starting with the immediate addition of Road 96 on January 7th for all Game Pass tiers (including PC). This marks a return for the title, previously available on the service. The following titles will launch later in the month:
- Road 96 (Available January 7th)
- Lightyear Frontier (Preview - January 8th)
- My Time at Sandrock (January 8th)
- Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders (January 8th)
- Rolling Hills (January 8th)
- UFC 5 (January 14th - Game Pass Ultimate only)
- Diablo (January 14th - Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only)
The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5 confirms earlier leaks. Note that Diablo and UFC 5 will be exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and/or PC Game Pass subscribers, respectively. The remaining titles are accessible with a standard subscription.
Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks are available as of January 7th, including a weapon charm for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th, 2025:
Microsoft also confirmed the departure of six games on January 15th:
- Common'hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment
- Insurgency Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
This initial lineup announcement covers only the first half of January. Further announcements for the latter half of the month and beyond are expected soon.
