HoYoverse has announced the release date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to launch on April 23rd. This update is set to conclude the narrative arc of Season 1, bringing exciting developments and revelations to the game.
What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?
The much-anticipated resolution of the Sacrifice crisis is on the horizon. Players will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo’s fate following his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to manage the situation.
Alongside Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian’s confrontation with her past and the unraveling of the Exaltists’ conspiracy promise a gripping storyline. For a preview of what’s to come, check out the trailer below:
Here’s the Character Lineup
Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird will join the fray. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering high Corruption damage that synergizes well with other characters’ EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His Totalize effect amplifies damage on stunned enemies, scaling with the duration of the stun.
Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, will join the lineup, utilizing cards with random effects. Returning characters include Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, both featured in Version 1.7’s banners.
Version 1.7 also introduces new events to Zenless Zone Zero. 'Say It With Flowers' allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements for customers. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
