Enhance Eve’s holiday look with a Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.
Xion Refurbished For the Holidays and Features a Mini-Game

Xion, the last bastion of humanity, will transform into a cozy, festive haven adorned with warm lights and decorations in red, green, and white. Key locations like The Last Gulp and Eve’s camp will embrace the holiday spirit, with the camp featuring seasonal BGM tracks like “Dawn (Winter)” and “Take me away” to create a soothing atmosphere and alleviate the fatigue of daily battles.
Additionally, a new mini-game will be introduced in Xion. While details are scarce, players can expect to shoot targets on a hovering holiday-themed drone to earn special rewards.
Turn On or Off Stellar Blade’s Seasonal Contents

The update introduces an option to toggle seasonal events, including the Nier:Automata DLC. Navigate to the game’s Settings, find Gameplay, and adjust the Seasonal Event Content setting. The options available are:
- Auto - automatically enables or disables seasonal content based on the current season
- Disable - deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season
- Enabled - activates seasonal content regardless of the season
This feature allows players to enjoy seasonal content at their convenience, though the game will restart to its most recent save after changing this setting.
Mostly Well-Received, But Not Everyone Is Happy
Following PlayStation's announcement on Twitter (X) on December 16, most fans expressed excitement about the new update. Many playfully dubbed Eve “Christmas Eve,” blending the holiday spirit with the protagonist's name. Fans also appreciated Shift Up’s commitment to regular seasonal updates.
However, some fans voiced concerns about the frequency of event updates in Stellar Blade, with one stating, “I don’t mind at all but why does Stellar Blade have so many event updates? Just doesn’t seem like the type of game.” Others were frustrated by the need to restart the game to experience the seasonal content.

Seasonal content is typically associated with multiplayer games that offer replayable elements and various cosmetic rewards. In contrast, Stellar Blade is a single-player game that can be completed in about 30 hours. To fully enjoy the seasonal content, players may need to restart the game, as there's limited activity post-story completion.
