: A Life in Art and Literature
A teacher by training, has dedicated her life to painting and poetry since childhood, actively participating in Italy's vibrant cultural scene. Since 1992, she's been a member of Jesi's "L'Emporio delle Parole" cultural group, regularly contributing to its public events and exhibitions.
Her literary contributions include publications in several anthologies, such as "The Enchanted Window" (1996) and "Meeting di Poeti" (1997-1998). She launched her online presence via Club degli Autori in 1998, and in 2012, received the prestigious "Best Poetic Voices" award from the "Beniamino Joppolo" Theater-culture Association.
Her prolific career continued with publications in the "Contemporary Poets" series (Pages ed., 2012-2014), culminating in her poetic collection "Rose d'Amore" (Pages ed., 2014). That same year, she participated in the Twelfth National Meeting of "Authors and Friends of Marzia Carrocci."
Further accomplishments include the publication of the short story "Christmas Butterflies" (Giovanelli ed., 2015), and contributions to anthologies like "Borghi, suburbs and cities" (Agemina ed., 2015) and "Writing poems and Stories" (Historica ed., 2015). Her second poetry collection, "Viole di Passione" (Pages ed., 2015), followed, and her work was selected for inclusion in Aletti ed.'s "Brise" collection and anthologies dedicated to Palazzeschi and Pasolini (Poetikanten ed.).
Patrizia's engagement with the arts extends to her membership in the Euterpe Cultural Association, where she contributes to their online magazine and related publications. She published collections in the "Poetici Orizzonti" and "Il Paese della Poesia" series (Aletti ed., 2016) and participated in various projects with Limina Mentis ed. Her work also features in the anthologies "Ispirazioni," "Colori," and "Messaggi" (Pagine ed., 2017).
Her accolades include selection for the "100 thousand poets for change Rome 2017-2018" anthology, a mention of merit for "World Poetry Day," and finalist status in the "Tra un fiore colto e l'altro donata" competition (Aletti ed., 2018). She was also selected for the "Alessandro Quasimodo reads contemporary Italian poets" competition (2018) and published her third poetry collection, "All'alba" (Pagine ed., 2019).
