This portable media player is not only versatile but also designed with advanced features to enhance your viewing experience. As a UPnP DLNA DMR (Digital Media Renderer), it seamlessly integrates with your network to access and play media files. Users can easily manage their files through the Storage Access Framework (SAF), giving them full control over their media library.
One of the standout features is its support for full-featured SSA/ASS subtitles. You can personalize your viewing experience by adding or managing your own font files. The player goes a step further by allowing you to dim SSA/ASS subtitles, making them more visible against the higher contrast and brightness of HDR and Dolby Vision (DV) content. Plus, you have the flexibility to adjust the font size to your preference.
For fans of Blu-ray and DVD content, the player supports subtitles in SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) formats, available starting from version 5.1. Whether your subtitles are embedded in MKV files or side-loaded, you can easily pick and apply a single subtitle file or select from a package in Zip/7Z/RAR format during playback.
The player is packed with additional features to enhance your media consumption. It supports HDR and DV content, ensuring vibrant visuals. You can enjoy digital audio passthrough, navigate through MKV chapters, step through frames, select and delay audio tracks, and choose subtitles with time offset adjustments. The player also displays the frame rate and automatically adjusts the refresh rate for smoother playback.
If you're using an NVidia Shield TV 2019, you'll be pleased to know that Dolby Vision playback is supported. Additionally, the player offers on-demand video rotation and full-screen zooming through pinch gestures, giving you complete control over your viewing experience.
Originally designed for segmented files playback, this player supports m3u8 (HLS media list) format, which was initially meant for TS files but now also accommodates mp4 and flv files.
