Phase 10 Rules:
A phase is a card combination of sets (same value), runs (consecutive ascending order), same-color cards, or a mix. The goal is to complete ten phases sequentially. The dealer distributes 10 cards to each player.
Phase Completion:
- Phases must be completed in order (1-10).
- Players must possess all cards for a phase before laying it down.
- Additional cards beyond the minimum requirement are allowed, provided they directly extend existing phases.
- Only one phase per turn is permitted.
- Successful phase completion grants credit, regardless of round outcome.
- Holding a complete phase doesn't necessitate laying it down; a card must still be discarded.
Ending the Round & Scoring:
After completing a phase, discard remaining cards. Remember: draw one card at the start and discard one at the end of each turn.
Scoring is based on remaining cards:
- 1-9 value cards: 5 points each
- 10-12 value cards: 10 points each
- Skip cards: 15 points each
- Wild cards: 25 points each
The lowest score wins.
Game Conclusion:
The first player to complete Phase 10 wins. If multiple players complete phases simultaneously, the player with the lowest total score after completing Phase 10 wins. Ties result in a replay of Phase 10.
