How to Play
Town of Salem accommodates 7 to 15 players, each assigned to one of several alignments: Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. As a member of the Town, your mission is to unearth and eliminate the Mafia and other nefarious characters before they can take you down. The twist? You won’t know who's friend or foe. If you find yourself cast as a villain, like a Serial Killer, you’ll need to execute your sinister deeds under the cover of night while dodging detection.
Roles
With 33 unique roles, Town of Salem ensures that no two games are the same. Before diving into a match, players gather in a lobby where the host can tailor the roles to be included. Once the game begins, roles are randomly assigned, and each player receives a role card detailing their abilities and alignment. Game Phases
Night
The night phase is when most roles spring into action. Serial Killers carry out their deadly tasks, Doctors work to save lives, and Sheriffs probe for any signs of foul play.
Day
During the day, Town members come together to deliberate and pinpoint suspects. As the voting phase kicks in, a majority vote can send someone to trial.
Defense
In the defense phase, you'll need to argue your case convincingly to avoid a grim fate at the gallows.
Judgement
The judgement phase determines the accused's destiny, with the town voting on whether they're guilty, innocent, or abstaining. A majority of guilty votes results in a hanging.
Customization
Personalize your Town of Salem experience by selecting your preferred map, character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and custom name. Your choices will be visible to other players throughout the game.
Achievements
With over 200 unique achievements to unlock, players can earn various in-game rewards, adding an extra layer of engagement to every match.
