War – A straightforward card game that everyone can enjoy
War is the classic card game from childhood that nearly everyone has played. The rules couldn't be simpler: each player gets an equal share of the deck, and on each turn, both reveal the top card of their pile. The player with the higher card takes both and places them at the bottom of their deck. When tied cards appear, a "war" is declared. Both players then place two more cards—the first face down, the second face up—to decide who wins the battle and takes all the cards. The goal is to capture every card. Cards rank from low to high (6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A) with one exception: the six beats the ace.
