This casual game app offers a fun, brain-teasing experience, playable solo or with a friend on a single smartphone! Based on the familiar rock-paper-scissors principle, the goal is to defeat your opponent's King, similar to chess. Even if you find Shogi challenging, this game is easy to pick up and play. Perfect for school friends, colleagues, or anyone looking for a fun pastime.
Basic Rules:
Rock, paper, scissors determine the outcome of piece attacks. Defeating the opponent's King wins the game! Each piece has unique movement capabilities (indicated by arrows).
- If your King is defeated, you lose! The King can move one square in any direction.
Piece Descriptions:
-
This game features four piece types: Rock (attacks Scissors), Scissors (attacks Paper), Paper (attacks Rock), and King (can attack any piece).
-
Attack and Counter-Attack: Once a piece attacks, it cannot attack again until it's attacked. Captured pieces can be placed on empty spaces. A captured piece becomes the opponent's piece.
-
Identical Piece Collision (Aiko): Attacking with the same type of piece results in a draw (Aiko). Aiko allows you to place your piece on top of the opponent's, effectively sealing it. (Note: The opponent can still attack the top piece.)
-
Level Up: Reaching the opposite side of the board with a piece upgrades it! (The King gains the ability to move one square in any direction).
Gameplay Modes:
There's a single-player mode, perfect for mastering the game's intricacies. Approximately 20 stages await! Can you conquer them all?
This ultimate time-killer is completely free! Enjoy rock-paper-scissors Shogi fun with friends and family! Recommended for fans of board games, Othello, and chess.
