Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0: "Paean of Era Nova" Launches January 15th!
Prepare for a journey to Amphoreus, a new world shrouded in mystery and chaos, as Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.0 update arrives on January 15th. Leaving Penacony behind, the Astral Express embarks on a thrilling adventure to a planet veiled in eternal night, where humanity teeters on the brink of extinction in the Holy City of Okhema. The inhabitants remain unaware of the world beyond their borders, their lives overshadowed by the legacy of warring Titans and a devastating "black tide."
New Characters Join the Crew
Version 3.0 introduces two compelling new characters:
- Herta: A 5-star Ice-type powerhouse, a cosmic genius and master of AoE damage.
- Aglaea: The elegant yet deadly dressmaster of Okhema, a Flame-Chase legend whose combat style is synchronized with her memosprite, Garmentmaker.

Unraveling the Mysteries of Amphoreus
The Trailblazer and Dan Heng delve into the ominous Abyss of Fate, a realm of ancient ruins and forgotten legends. Here, they encounter the Titans of Time, Passage, and Law – ancient beings who once held dominion over time and space. Players will meet Oronyx, the Titan of Time, and unlock the Path of Remembrance. A new companion, the endearingly quirky Mem (whose only utterance is "Mem"), also joins the adventure.
The Vortex of Genesis Awaits
The final destination in Version 3.0 is the Vortex of Genesis, a divine sanctuary for the Titans and the location of the Miracle of Genesis. Collected Coreflames illuminate constellations, chronicling the epic journeys of the Chrysos Heirs.
Returning and New Companions
The update features familiar faces and new allies: Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade appear in the first half, while Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf join the fray in the second. A special Preservation outfit for March 7th is gifted to players simply for logging in during the update.
