Pokemon GO's Steely Resolve Event: Corviknight Arrives!
The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—finally debuts in Pokémon GO on January 21st during the Steely Resolve event! This addition expands the game's Galar region Pokémon roster.
The arrival was first hinted at in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, showcasing Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. The wait is now over.

This event features:
- New Pokémon: Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight make their debut.
- Special Research: A Dual Destiny Special Research questline with unique rewards.
- Field Research Tasks: Complete tasks for various encounters and items.
- Shiny Pokémon: Increased chances to encounter shiny versions of several Pokémon.
- Bonuses: Charged TMs can now remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon. Magnetic Lure Modules attract Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.
- Increased Spawns: Boosted spawns for Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, Carbink, and more.

- Wild Encounters: Clefairy, Machop, Totodile, Marill, Hoppip, Paldean Wooper, Shieldon, Bunnelby, Carbink, Mareanie ( denotes shiny possibility)
- Raids: One-star raids featuring Lickitung, Skorupi, Pancham, Amaura; Five-star raids with Deoxys (Attack/Defense Forme) until January 24th, then Dialga ( denotes shiny possibility). Mega Raids include Mega Gallade and Mega Medicham*.
- 2km Eggs: Shieldon, Carbink, Mareanie, Rookidee (* denotes shiny possibility)
- Featured Attacks: Evolving specific Pokémon during the event grants them unique attacks (e.g., Corviknight learning Iron Head).
GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st, 12 AM – January 26th, 11:59 PM local time):
- Bonuses: 4x Stardust from win rewards, increased daily battle sets (up to 20), and a free battle-themed Timed Research.
- Leagues: Rotating Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues with 4x Stardust bonuses.
