Project ETHOS distinguishes itself through its dynamic gameplay. The core mechanic involves randomized "Evolutions" that dramatically alter hero abilities mid-match, forcing players to adapt strategies on the fly. Transform your sniper into a melee powerhouse or shift your support character into a solo damage dealer – the possibilities are endless.
The game features two distinct modes:

Trials: This signature mode challenges teams of three against both AI and human opponents. Players collect Cores, strategically choosing when to extract and invest them in upgrades (Augments). Death results in Core loss, creating a high-stakes, risk-reward dynamic. Matches can be joined at any point, but be prepared for immediate action! XP is earned through various means, including combat, exploration, and completing events.

Gauntlet: A classic competitive PvP tournament mode. Players battle through brackets, upgrading their hero with each victory. Elimination means waiting for the next round.
Accessing the Project ETHOS Playtest
Gain access by watching participating Twitch streams for 30 minutes to receive a key. Alternatively, register on the official website for a chance to participate in future playtests. The current playtest is limited to players in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Server maintenance schedules are available on the official website.
