MiHoYo's upcoming action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero, unveiled exciting new content in a recent pre-release livestream. This version 1.0 showcase, just before the July 4th launch, offers a final glimpse at the game before its App Store and Google Play debut.
Set in a post-apocalyptic New Eridu, the last human city after the Hollows devastation, players take on the role of a "Proxy" to explore this urban fantasy world. A departure from MiHoYo's typical sci-fi and fantasy settings (like Honkai and Genshin Impact), Zenless Zone Zero has the potential to be their most successful game yet.
High Stakes for MiHoYo?
Launching on July 4th, Zenless Zone Zero joins MiHoYo's already impressive portfolio. Following the phenomenal success of Genshin Impact, the studio has continued to grow. Zenless Zone Zero's unique urban fantasy setting and prominent musical elements, highlighted in the livestream, distinguish it from their previous titles.
Could MiHoYo become the next Supercell, a powerhouse of hit mobile games? Or will Zenless Zone Zero prove too ambitious even for them? Only time will tell.
